Kindergarten – 5th Grade

Cub Scout Pack 4018

Hands-on adventure for kids and their grown-ups, right here in Greenfield. Cub Scouting is a family program — parents are part of every den, every campout, and every cheer at the finish line of the pinewood derby.

What is Cub Scouting?

Big adventures, kid-sized.

Cub Scouts learn by doing. Whether they're shooting BBs at council day camp, building a model rocket, helping at a community service project, or sleeping in a tent for the very first time, every meeting and outing is built around one idea: "Do Your Best."

Pack 4018 is open to all kids in kindergarten through 5th grade. Boys and girls are welcome in their own dens. Cub Scouting is family-friendly by design — younger siblings come along to most events, and at least one parent or guardian joins every campout.

The Dens

Cub Scouts is organized by grade. Each rank has its own handbook and adventure trail.

Lions Kindergarten

The youngest Cubs. Lions meet alongside a parent and explore the basics: animals, the outdoors, and making new friends.

Tigers 1st grade

Adventures get a little bigger — short hikes, simple games, and a first taste of camping with family.

Wolves 2nd grade

Outdoor skills start to click — knife safety, fire-watching, and "paws" on the trail.

Bears 3rd grade

Bears tackle bigger projects — woodworking, archery at council camps, and longer hikes.

Webelos 4th grade

Webelos start to lead. Skills get more advanced and the trail toward the Arrow of Light begins.

Arrow of Light 5th grade

Cub Scouting's highest rank — and the bridge into Scouts BSA Troop 4018 next door.
